Before you use your suede bag

We recommend protecting your suede bag before its first outing with a quality suede protector spray. Always test any product on a small, hidden area first and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Avoid using your suede bag in heavy rain or wet conditions where possible. Suede is naturally absorbent and water can cause marks or changes to the colour and texture.

Everyday care

To keep your suede bag looking its best:

  • Store your bag in its dust bag when not in use.

  • Avoid placing it on dirty or wet surfaces.

  • Keep it away from oils, cosmetics and liquids that may stain the suede.

  • Use a soft suede brush to gently remove dust and restore the natural nap.

Removing marks and stains

For light surface marks, gently brush the suede with a clean suede brush in one direction to lift the fibres and remove surface dirt.

Avoid rubbing aggressively, as this can flatten the suede or change the appearance of the surface.

Storage

When storing your suede bag:

  • Keep it in the original dust bag.

  • Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
